Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle website Goop is launching a clothing line. Here's what we're predicting...

Gwyneth Paltrow has set a date for the launch of Goop clothing - which we think is the same as setting a date for her world domination plans to be complete.

Come September, we'll all be able to wear our adoration for Gwyneth's lifestyle brand literally on our sleeve.

Here's what we're predicting from the collection... Sleek Wardrobe Staples… If Gwyneth’s own style is anything to go by, then everything in the Goop collection will be pretty easy to inject into your existing wardrobe – think perfect tailored blazers with marl tops and jeans for day, or timeless jumpsuits and dresses for evening. Referencing the fact that certain other celeb fashion lines have failed by not building their collections up from the basics, Goop CEO Lisa Gersh said; ‘We've seen the mistakes out there, we'll be taking small steps.’

Quinoa Slogan Tees… From Kale-based every-thang, to at-home Chakra cleanses, Goop has made its name as a haven for all things wholesome, so surely this will spill into Gwyneth’s designs? We predict, at the very least, that the collection will be ethically sound and packed full of organic materials. Katharine Hamnett, Dame Vivienne, Stella McCartney… she’s coming for you.

Exciting Guest Designers… Goop regularly collaborates with other designers on limited edition ranges (past projects have included mini-collections with Michael Kors, Diane von Furstenberg and Chinti and Parker) so when Gwyneth’s own line launches we expect to see a few more fashion forces making cameos.

And Clothing Is Just The Beginning… We reckon Gwyneth has her sights set on a Martha Stewart-style lifestyle empire. How do we know? She actually pinched Stewart’s former CEO, Lisa Gersh, to help her build it. Martha hit back (proving that even the best of us can succumb to a good catfight) by saying ‘She just needs to be quiet. She’s a movie star. If she were confident in her acting, she wouldn’t be trying to be Martha Stewart.' But now Gwyneth’s had her say. ‘I'm so psyched that she sees us as competition,’ she said in October.

Can’t we all just get along and make chia seed pudding together?
