As a busy mum of three, it's safe to say that I've had my fair share of winter bugs over the years. While I've become adept at pushing on through (no one really cares when mum gets sick, after all), I'd really rather not catch the lurgy in the first place, meaning my immune system needs to be firing on all cylinders once the nights start drawing in.

But, truth be told, my nutrient-dense, balanced diet and consistent exercise regimen only go so far: sometimes, I need a little help to stay on top of things, and that's where iHerb comes in.

My job as a Health Writer means I'm always on the hunt for efficacious, easy wellness wins that won't cost the earth - or take up hours of my time scrolling to find. So, when I was introduced to iHerb, it felt serendipitous: here was a site that's not only simple to navigate (being a techno phobe, this is a huge win for me) but packed full of high-quality supplements from respected health brands, all in one place.

New to iHerb? Allow me to wax lyrical for a while. Founded back in 1996, the company prides itself on selecting the highest quality brands to work with, meaning you can shift seamlessly from adding everything from beauty brands (hello, OlaPlex) to sunscreen, sports equipment and even pet products to basket.

Offering both in-house brands that are subject to rigorous independent testing as well as partnering with major household brands, you can be sure you're purchasing high-calibre, trusted products at competitive prices - and, did we mention the shipping is super fast, too? Not only that, but the shipping (to over 180 countries, BTW) is free when you spend over £35 - which, trust us, won't be hard to do.

So, if you're on a mission to upgrade your supplements this season, look no further. These are my go-to products for supporting my immunity and more, whatever this winter has in store.

Keen to overhaul your immunity supplements this winter? Allow me to introduce you to the products from iHerb

    California Gold Nutrition, Vitamin D3 + K2 as Mk-7, 60 Veggie Capsules

    California Gold Nutrition Vitamin D3 + K2
    £9
    SHOP NOW

According to advice from the NHS, everyone in the UK should be supplementing vitamin D between October and March, when we're not able to obtain sufficient amounts from sunlight. Vital for healthy bones, muscles and teeth, research also shows that a lack of vitamin D is associated with a number of diseases and an increased risk of all-cause mortality.

I'm a huge fan of the California Gold supplements, here, as the veggie capsule is also gluten and soy-free, so it's gentle on my sensitive stomach all my vitamin K (as well as D) requirements, too.

California Gold Nutrition, Lactobif® 30 Probiotics, 30 Billion Cfu, 60 Veggie Capsules

California Gold Nutrition Lactobif® 30 Probiotics
    £21
    SHOP NOW

Another immunity need, another California Gold product: this time, it's all about gut health. We know that our immunity is inextricably linked to gut function - research shows that 70 to 80% of our immune cells are housed in the gut, so when we're looking to ward off winter illnesses, probiotics are a great place to start.

Studies show that probiotics are effective in improving and restoring the gut microbiota, allowing it to support a healthy and resilient immune system. While there is a wealth of products on the market, these capsules are handy and easy to take (no refrigeration needed!) for an easy immunity win.

California Gold Nutrition, Buffered Gold C®, Non-Acidic Vitamin C Powder, Sodium Ascorbate, 8.4 Oz (238 G)

California Gold Nutrition Non-Acidic Vitamin C Powder
    £13
    SHOP NOW

Alongside vitamin D and probiotics, vitamin C completes the immunity trifecta you need this winter. It's well established that vitamin C is a cold-busting powerhouse, with studies revealing it acts as an antioxidant supporting immune defence.

But honestly, we don't always want to pop yet another pill - and that's where this powdered form comes into its own. Just one daily scoop mixed with your drink of choice helps you to smash your vitamin C goals.

Lemme, Greens, Daily Superfood Gummies, Berries & Greens, 60 Gummies

    Lemme Greens Daily Superfood Gummies
    £30
    SHOP NOW

Hate greens powders? We get it. These berries and greens superfood gummies taste so much better than powder - and you're still banking over 20 greens and fruits alongside clinically-backed probiotics.

Research from the British Dietetic Association shows that only 27% of adults aged 19 to 64 are eating the five-a-day recommended daily fruit and vegetables. While there's no doubt that a food-first approach is always best when it comes to greens, the reality is that we can't always meet all our needs when life gets busy - but we've always got time for a gummy.

Maryruth's, Liquid Morning Multivitamin, Raspberry, 15.22 Fl Oz (450 Ml)

    Maryruth's Liquid Morning Multivitamin
    £19
    SHOP NOW

If you're keen to start supplementing to boost your immunity this winter but aren't sure where to start, you can't go far wrong with a broad-spectrum multivitamin.

MaryRuth's liquid morning multi vitamin is perfect for the whole family: safe for use from 12 months and up, it's a tasty and easy-to-tolerate liquid supplement to help you keep on top of your wellness this winter.

California Gold Nutrition, Omega-3 Premium Fish Oil, 100 Fish Gelatin Softgels (1,100 Mg Per Softgel)

California Gold Nutrition Omega-3 Premium Fish Oil
    £11
    SHOP NOW

Omega-3 fatty acids are vital for overall health and wellbeing, especially in the colder months. But we can't produce these fats in our bodies, meaning we have to obtain them either through the foods we eat (oily fish is a rich source), or through supplementation.

Compelling new research from King's College London suggests that, in addition to enhancing vision, joint health and more, omega-3 fatty acids could help protect women, in particular, against dementia and Alzheimer's disease. If that's not reason enough to add these capsules to basket, we don't know what is. Even better, this November, there's 25% off everything onsite.
