Pippa Middleton has gotten 'secretly engaged' to her stockbroker boyfriend Nico Jackson, according to new reports.
The couple, who have been dating for six months, are said to be announcing their engagement after Pippa's 30th birthday - an insider told The Sunday People that they were delaying the announcement 'because they didn’t want to take the shine off Kate and her baby.'
According to a friend of the couple's:
'Pippa loved seeing Kate go down the aisle and now it is her turn for a fairytale wedding.
'She couldn’t be more sure that Nico is the right man for her. They are such a good fit for each other and their families get on really well. Everyone is so happy for Pippa.'
The Mirror reports that Pippa and Nico are set to tie the knot next spring and that the couple are 'thrilled' at the prospect of marriage.
Pippa is 'designing a ring and planning a reception at the home of her parents,' and it's likely that the wedding will take place at a church.
Pippa and Nico allegedly got engaged during Wimbledon, where they were snapped looking cosy and stealing kisses as they watched the men's semifinals.
As to whether or not Duchess Kate will be a bridesmaid for her sister, 'it remains to be seen,' says a source close to Pippa.
'Everyone knows how close the sisters are but at this stage the final arrangements are a long way off. Pippa’s wedding will be a huge occasion but if Kate is bridesmaid it will be even more high-profile.'
Carole Middleton is also said to be '100 per cent' behind the engagment.
'One of the things Pippa likes most is the way Nico is so relaxed around her parents. They really like him,' the insider continued.
