This festive season, The Body Shop will pledge 1.8p from every transaction to help protect and re-wild more than 10 million square metres of forest in England and Armenia, supporting the World Land Trust (WLT) and new partners The Woodland Trust UK as part of The Body Shop’s World Bio-Bridges Mission. To ensure this target is achieved, The Body Shop has committed to donate a minimum of £100,000 to the World Land Trust and £150,000 to the Woodland Trust respectively. Running throughout November and December, this Re-wild The World campaign will add an extra level of ethical value to your Christmas haul.
Plus, The Body Shop has been famously opposed to animal testing for over 40 years – an issue we feel very strongly about here at team Marie Claire – and with all products boasting a 100% vegetarian stamp (many are also vegan), you can feel rest assured you'll find gifts to please everyone.
It's also worth mentioning The Body Shop has designed many of its festive gift containers and packaging to be reused and upcycled to help reduce that post-Christmas waste.
