Sarah Jessica Parker Net A Porter Shoe Collaboration

And we want them all

‘I’m not afraid of heights, have you seen my shoes?’ is just one of Carrie Bradshaw’s best shoe quotes. Now, Sarah Jessica Parker is living Carrie’s shoe dreams IRL through a dreamy collaboration with Net-a-Porter.

The 16-piece, party season-ready, SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker collection launches tomorrow (November 17) and offers satin heels and flats in jewel tones and metallics, detailed with chic embellishments, sparkly closures and satin bows – exactly the sort of shoe Carrie would dash about New York in, post-brunch or pre-date with Big.

Handmade in Italy, and with prices ranging from £245, this luxurious line is, according to SJP, ‘feminine, strong, surprising and timeless.’

‘When we think of Sarah Jessica, we think of how much fun she has with style, especially shoes, so this was the perfect way for us to collaborate with her on a footwear collection,’ says Sarah Rutson, VP of Global Buying at Net-a-Porter, adding that while they look like evening-only shoes, we should consider styling them with our daywear too:

‘It’s not just about wearing these pumps for cocktail hour and evening events, but mixing it up by wearing them at all times of the day.’ So, why not try some pretty pumps with your weekend uniform of ripped jeans and cashmere knits instead of your trusty trainers.

This isn’t the first time SJP has teamed up with an established luxury retailer on a capsule line, and with her collection of SJP little black dresses - which are available exclusively at Bloomingdale’s - she seems determined to help us assemble the perfect party wardrobe. In fact, she’s even hinted that her Net-a-Porter collection may be an on-going collaboration:

‘I believe that this is just the beginning of a long, fruitful, creative and successful partnership, and I so look forward to seeing where it takes us.’

As do we SJP.
