This London Fashion Week may be all about the designers' autumn collections (stand-out shows so far include Roksanda, Rejina Pyo, Victoria Beckham and Alexa Chung), but if you're really looking for style inspiration, then you need to look off the catwalk.
When it comes to new brands and trends, fashion editors, influencers and celebrities are always in the know, and trust me when I say that once a brand is spotted on a handful of them, it's only a matter of time before it sells out.
For this spring/summer, there are already a few key pieces I've spotted over and over again on the cobbles, which is a sure sign they're well worth investing in. From the next 'it' bag to the hottest jewellery for spring, here are the accessories to shop now.
The lace-up boots
I'm calling it: if you're going to invest in one pair of shoes this season, make it a pair of ankle boots, preferably lace up. There are two schools for this: either you're into an urban vibe, in which case, the hinking boot is for you.
Or if you want to go down the dressier route, go for a Victorian style lace-up as seen at Celine, Rejina and By Far.

Shop now: TABITHA SIMMONS Emmet lace-up ankle boots for £635 from MATCHESFASHION
Shop now: BOTTEGA VENETA Intrecciato lace-up leather canvas boots for £775 from MATCHESFASHION
The pearl earrings
Whilst last season was all about shell jewellery - and don't worry, it's still a thing - for winter, the baroque pearl earring is where it's at. Go for a gem-studded single pearl on a gold hoop, and by all means do mis-match.
Shop now: ALIGHIERI Dante's Shadow gold-plated pearl earrings for £420 from Net-A-Porter
Shop now: Pearl hoops earrings for £15.99 from MANGO
The headband
Whether your style inspiration is Blair Waldorf or Anne Boleyn, you're onto the right track here. There's nothing like a prim satin or velvet band to instantly pull your outfit together, and I'm loving jewel shades of burnt orange and burgundy.
Shop now: Satin turban headband for £29.50 from J.Crew
The naked sandal
The mum mule was last season's show of choice, but this time round, it's been upgraded (or downgraded really) to the naked sandal. As the name suggests, there isn't much to it. It's an elegant kitten heels with a barely-there strap. Wear it now with a sandal.
Shop now: STRIPPY Heeled Sandals for £46 from Topshop
Shop now: BY FAR Carrie metallic leather slingback sandals for £305 from Net-A-Porter
The faux fur coat
Faux fur has never been so chic. I saw a lot of leopard print this time around, and of course it'll never go out of style, but the stand out piece for me was the chic cream coat as seen on Anna Vitiello.
Shop now: TIBI Luxe oversized faux fur coat for £635 from Net-A-Porter
The micro bag
Who needs an oversized bag, when you can have a perfectly cute - if completely impractical - micro bag. This season was all about the Rejina box bags, STAUD pouches and Fendi drawstrings.
Shop now: FENDI Mon Tresor mini bag for £1,290 from FARFETCH
Shop now: Manu Atelier Bucket Bag for £320 from Browns
