  • The supermodel joined Naomi Campbell on the Paris Fashion Week runway for Louis Vuitton's autumn/winter 2011 collection

She’s back! Kate Moss returned to the runway today for the first time in years, to close Louis Vuitton’s autumn/winter 2011 collection in serious style.

The supermodel was met by rapturous applause as she hit the catwalk, clad in high waited black knickers, a fur-trim jacket and gravity-defying laced boots, with a cigarette in hand.

And she wasn’t the only super that Marc Jacobs called on – Naomi Campbell, Amber Valetta and Carolyn Murphy all slipped into the designer’s latest creations, providing a high octane end to Paris Fashion Week, which closes today.

Kate retired from the catwalk back in 2004, and has only made a couple of appearances since, once at last year’s Fashion for Relief show to pay tribute to Alexander McQueen and at her friend Johnny Blue Eyes’ 2008 House Of Blue Eyes show, which was apparently a spontaneous appearance.
