Absolutely Fabulous got its big movie premiere in London's Leicester Square last night, as Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley were joined by the fashion world's finest, from Stella McCartney to Kate Moss, to celebrate the cinema release this weekend.

Walking the glittering gold carpet were supermodels like Jourdan Dunn and Lily Cole, designers from Henry Holland to Giles Deacon and pop stars from Kylie Minogue to Ella Eyre.

Patsy and Edina's return to the limelight has attracted no less than 60 celebrity fans to make cameos in the Absolutely Fabulous movie, tons of whom turned up to celebrate on the night.

The dress code for the evening was (of course) 'fabulous, darling' and the stars took on the theme in style. We loved Daisy Lowe's metallic Vivienne Westwood number, Ella Eyre's monochrome Escada look and Jourdan Dunn's Antonio Berardi mini, for starters. Kylie Minogue's Roberto Cavalli gown turned heads too, while Celia Imrie went full on fabulous in a turquoise gown with a white feather bolero jacket.

Stella McCartney arrived on the arm of best friend Kate Moss, wearing a navy jacquard dress and a slick tuxedo respectively. Kate gets killed off by Patsy and Edina in the film, while Stella gets referred to by the duo as the new Lacroix. High praise indeed from one pair of fashionistas to another.
