  • From Suki, Cara and Alexa, to Pharrell and Orlando Bloom- the annual Serpentine Summer Party drew a stunning crowd of A-listers last night...

From Suki and Cara, to Pharrell and Orlando, every star brought their sartorial A-game to last night’s Serpentine Gallery party.

Here’s Marie Claire’s pick of the 10 best-dressed guests. Because there’s nothing we love more than a gorgeous summer fashion do…

    Keira Knightley
Rainbow bright and shoulder-skimming, with a subtle nod to florals – Keira’s tiered Chanel column gown ticks all the boxes that a perfect spring party dress should. We just hope that frothy chiffon hem didn’t get ruined on the dance floor as her Klaxons frontman husband, James Righton, played DJ.

    Alexa Chung
Surely one of the pitfalls of road-testing the AW14 collections now would be working up a sweat in all that velvet? Not so, says Alexa in this simple Erdem number with a cutwork hem. We rejoice at her choice of pointy flats (yes, flats!) on the red carpet – the true mark of a pro party girl who’s definitely out for a good time.

    Cara Delevingne
Cara’s wearing all Mulberry every-thang and proving that her namesake mini-rucksack works for all occasions.

    Suki Waterhouse
Since wowing in a custom-made Burberry gown at the MET ball back in February, Suki has totally got into her red carpet stride. She’s nailed it again in another soft pink Burberry dress for the Serpentine do. We loved it all the more when we spotted she had teamed it with high-street heels – a pair of palm-printed Topshop sandals, no less.

    Naomi Campbell
Naomi looks red hot in this Givenchy sequin mini dress and rose gold heels. Classic Campbell beauty tricks (smokey eyes, tousled hair and soft red lips) complete the look.

    Arizona Muse
Arizona’s Emilio Pucci gown is a masterpiece of artistic drapery itself. And she shows us (for the second time in a fortnight, no less) that she’s keen to retain her title as queen of summer up-dos, with this twisty messy bun.

    Princess Beatrice
Bea does her bit for the British couture industry by stepping out in this gorgeous Nicholas Oakwell dress. On point colour pop accessories stop the look from tipping into bridal territory. And not a lobster claw/ toilet seat fascinator in sight.

    Lily Allen
Lily’s lets her sunset-coloured hair do the talking, wearing a simple Stella McCartney mini dress with Louboutin courts. The fringe-tastic back view makes the look.

    Samantha Barks
Samantha’s shimmering pink Lanvin cocktail dress is super form-flattering. The structured bustier neckline looks a little less stiff thanks to the delicate raw hem.

    Gemma Arterton
Forget AW14, Gemma’s already wearing Prabal Gurung’s resort 2015 collection. Giving us a hint of her tanned abs in this crop-top/high-waist combo set (has she been reading our flesh flashing guide?) we love the bold red colouring on her too. Maybe try to avoid Naomi at the bar, though…
