Kate Middleton recycles high street coat for official outing

Kate Middleton's burgundy Hobbs coat looks a little familiar - and that's because we've seen it before...

Kate Middleton is no stranger to a spot of style recycling, and she indulged in her favourite fashion pastime once again yesterday, during an official engagement in Grimsby.

The pregnant Duchess of Cambridge showed the first glimpse of a baby bump in a burgundy coat from upmarket retailer, which she's worn on more than one occasion.

IS KATE MIDDLETON HAVING A BABY GIRL?

We first spied Kate Middleton's cosy number when she visited Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool in February last year.

At the time, the Duchess wore the mid-length belted brown Celeste coat - which was reduced from £369 to £182 in the sale, and promptly sold out nationwide - with a cosy Lara polo neck, also from Hobbs, simple suede court shoes, Kiki McDonough drop earrings and perfectly blow dried glossy locks.

A year later, Kate's faithful coat made a second outing, as she attended a day of official engagements in the northern town of Grimsby.

Pregnant Kate arrived by helicopter for her visit, during which she visited the Fishing Heritage Centre in the Lincolnshire town, before moving on to Humberside Fire and Rescue Service in the afternoon.

This time, Kate styled her Hobbs coat with a pretty, printed Great Plains dress, pearl drop earrings, an understated black clutch and matching black suede heels.

Not forgettting her ultimate accessory - a beaming smile, and a burgeoning baby bump.

Last year it was revealed the Queen is very much a fan of Kate Middleton's budget-friendly wardrobe, and feels the Duchess is setting a good example by wearing her clothes more than once.
