Kate Middleton’s fashion choices have caused yet another shopping stampede as the £37 Topshop dress she bought last week saw a huge spike in sales. KATE MIDDLETON’S HIGH STREET PREGNANCY FASHION PURCHASE REVEALED
After details of Kate Middleton’s new purchase were revealed on Tuesday, by 2pm Topshop concession Lovestruck witnessed a staggering 60,000 hits to the its website and at one point reported dress sales of one per minute.
The huge influx of visitors, all hoping to take a bite of the Kate Middleton style pie, caused the site to crash and it comes as no surprise that the vintage-looking tea dress completely sold out. Although Lovestruck are now accepting pre-orders of the frock, as they no doubt enjoy their 500% sales increase.

Of course this isn’t the first time Kate Middleton’s fashion touch has struck, she’s had a similar effect on sales of Reiss and Zara pieces as well as Le Chameau wellies. Although Whistles recently revealed the ‘Duchess effect’ failed to light up their brand’s sales figures as she often wears pieces that are no longer produced.
Either way, there’s still no denying Kate Middleton’s command over our fashion choices.
