Where to find the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals for fashion trainers, running trainers and more

The Black Friday trainers sale is one of the best events to stock up on trainers from all your favourite brands, like Nike, adidas, Gucci, Balenciaga and more (if it's high end brands you like, do check out our Black Friday designer deals and our Black Friday shoe deals).

When it comes to investing in new running shoes or fashion trainers, I always wait until this time of year, because it's not that often you can get big discounts on current season items. Plus it's a a great time to get your Christmas shopping done early.

Keep scrolling to find out what to expect from this year's sales...

Balenciaga Triple S sneakers

While Balenciaga doesn't officially do sales, you can get round this by shopping them in the Net-A-Porter Black Friday or the Selfridges Black Friday sales instead. Though be aware department stores have trouble keeping them in stock at the best of times, let alone when they're discounted.

Lacoste trainers

A timeless classic our Editor's always turn to Lacoste for chic, classic silhouettes and playful detailing. Last year, there was up to 50% off signature styles over Black Friday so if you're looking at investing in a new pair for less there's no better time to shop.

Penny Goldstone

Penny Goldstone is the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire, covering everything from catwalk trends to royal fashion and the latest high street and Instagram must-haves.

Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
