Kristen Stewart looks chic at Cecil B DeMille award announcement in LA

The Twilight star looked elegant in a grey shift dress by Bec & Bridge at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association event

Kristen Stewart opted for an understated but chic look last night as she attended an event in Hollywood to announce the latest recipient of the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille award.

The Twilight actress showed off her legs in a short sleeveless shift dress in light grey by Australian design duo Bec & Bridge, which she accessorised with a pair of simple black wedge heels and a couple of bangles. A hint of blush on the cheeks, a sweep of smoky eyeshadow and her signature tousled hair completed her latest look.

Kristen appeared relaxed as she joined Aussie actor Simon Baker at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association event at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles, to announce that close friend and acting mentor, Jodie Foster, will receive the organisation's Cecil B. DeMille award at next year's Golden Globes on 13th January.

The Hollywood engagement comes in the midst of a busy time for the starlet. Fresh from partying at a Halloween bash earlier this week with on/off boyfriend and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, she is about to embark on more promotional duties for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, as the 16th November cinema release date inches closer.

And if further proof was needed that Kristen and Rob have put her affair scandal with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders behind them, MTV has just released a video interview with the pair alongside Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner where the duo appear happy, relaxed and share a giggle.
