The new Duchess of Cambridge chose a high street number to meet the Obamas
Kate Middleton continued her reign as the queen of British high street style today, choosing a fitted taupe dress from Reiss to meet Michelle and Barack Obama.
The second time the Duchess of Cambridge has chosen the brand for a high profile appearance - she wore a white dress for her official engagement photo shoot with Mario Testino - it's the latest in a string of affordable fashion buys to be spotted in her wardrobe, including pieces from LK Bennett and Whistles.
The newlywed joined her husband Prince William to meet America's First Couple, who visited Buckingham Palace today and also met with the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
The day marked the first official engagement for the pair as a married couple, and also the first time they've been spotted since returning from their Seychelles honeymoon.
Luckily, taupe proves the perfect compliment to a glowing tan!
