Back in March the young starlet made a special guest appearance at the label's Milan fashion week show, igniting rumours that she would soon be representing the brand.
A Prada representative ended speculation by telling E! News: 'I can confirm Hailee Steinfeld has been shot to appear in the new Miu Miu fall/winter 2011 campaign.'
Hailee’s contract with Miu Miu makes her the latest in a long history of celebrity endorsers of the brand, including Kirsten Dunst, Katie Holmes, Lindsay Lohan and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
But at the tender age of 14, she's certainly the youngest.
During the recent award season, Hailee was no stranger to Miu Miu on the red carpet, and was consistently praised for her sartorial choices. The Oscar-nominted actress also chose a swan dress by Miu Miu for the Berlin premiere of True Grit.
Her stylist, Karla Welch, has said of the collaboration: 'Miu Miu is such a perfect fit for her. Throughout awards season, they were the dresses she wanted to wear.'
Fellow youngster Elle Fanning has also garnered praise for her fashion sense and was recently spotted wearing Valentino couture on the red carpet. The 13-year old will also appear in a new short film by Rodarte.
Elle’s big sis Dakota starred in a Marc Jacobs ad campaign when she too was just 14.
