Victoria Beckham shares her birthday snaps on Facebook

The designer posted pics of her 38th birthday celebrations on her new Facebook page

Victoria Beckham has opened a Facebook account just in time to share all the photos from her birthday celebrations with her fans.

The mother-of-four celebrated her 38th birthday yesterday in a typically stylish manner.

First she was surprised by her family with balloons, bouquets of beautiful fresh flowers and a banner, which read: 'Happy Birthday Mummy.'

Mrs Beckham posted a photo of the gifts on her new Facebook page and wrote: 'Having a lovely day with my boys and baby Harper!! Victoria x’

Next she was whisked off to Nobu Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills for a special lunch, but, as you would probably expect from the super-svelte star, she shunned a calorific birthday cake in favour of a healthy fruit platter. There was a drizzle of chocolate sauce, though!

Later in the evening she carried on the celebrations by having a dinner at LA's Bouchon Bistro, where she was joined by A-list pal Eva Longoria, among others.

The Desperate Housewives star was snapped carrying a gift bag from British jewellery designer Solange Azagury-Partridge into the restaurant, so we think it's safe to say that Victoria continued to be spoilt rotten!

As for what husband David got her? We'll have to wait and see.

He introduced the 38-year-old to Facebook yesterday by telling his fans: 'Hi everyone, there is a double celebration today, happy birthday to my beautiful wife Victoria and please welcome her to Facebook Victoria Beckham.'
