Lana Del Rey has lent her haunting vocals and magnetic looks to make onscreen magic in H&M’s vintage-themed TV advert.
The singer dominates the 30-second clip, naturally, as she showcases the high-street store’s autumn/winter collection to a backdrop of her rendition of ‘Blue Velvet’.
LANA DEL REY NAMED AS FACE OF JAGUAR
The ad opens with Lana clad in a mohair sweater and pale jeans singing into a vintage microphone.
As the camera pans the room three Lana clones appear in identical form clad in pale shades. The song moves one lady into a yawn then deep contemplation while a male onlooker breaks into a sweat.
The video has the star stamped all over it with her personal love of vintage looks echoed throughout.

There’s a clash of floral prints as Lana is hypnotized by a pendulum and her iconic beehive stays in place during the entire ad.
Retro notes are added with a traditional telephone into which the star sings – focusing the frame on her perfectly full pout.
As the red H&M letters appear, Lana wears a smile – and who can blame her when her first fashion TV ad is this good?
