Katy Perry and Rihanna’s friendship is one of the sweetest in showbiz, the pair usually sit side by side at award ceremonies and can’t help but gush about each other during interviews. However, it appears their relationship is under strain as Katy hints at problems between the pair.

After Rihanna reportedly got back with her ex, Chris Brown, the New York Daily News claims Katy believes her pal is ‘making a huge mistake’. So much so they’ve not seen each other since the MTV VMAs in August – although we’re hoping it’s down to their hectic schedules and not a fall out.
Although Katy did suggest a rift between them. When asked if she’d seen Rihanna since August, she told MTV: ‘We've had dinner, and that's about it. I didn't reach out to her after the incident.’

The incident in question is thought to be when Rihanna publicly kissed Chris Brown at the award ceremony.

Although Katy quickly played things down adding: ‘I think she is doing fine. I don't know.
‘Her personal life has probably already been blown out of proportion. I don't really have to go into that. I'm sure she probably wants a break.'
