Rihanna has made no secret of her admiration for Adele, earlier this year she admitted to being a ‘big fan’ and that she ‘loved her’, so following the birth of Adele’s baby boy, the Bajan beauty decided to express her congratulations, but in a unique way.

While other celebrity friends including Jessie J sent more traditional gifts, Rihanna wanted to treat the new mum as well as the baby and sent Adele some lingerie.
The Sun reports it was of the ‘saucy' variety and arrived with a note reading: ‘You gotta stay sexy yummy mummy. Enjoy yourself. Congrats!!! [sic]’
And that wasn’t Rihanna’s only gift, she also sent some new baby grows for the newborn emblazoned with the slogans: ‘My mum is a rockstar’ and ‘Just done nine months inside.’

A source explained Rihanna’s more unusual choice of gift to the newspaper saying: 'She thought seriously hard about what to get her as she wanted to make sure no one else would get the same thing.’
