Suri Cruise is set to get a wardrobe make-under from mum Katie Holmes, who has reportedly vowed to dispense with her daughter's designer clothes, and make her life more 'normal.'

According to insiders, Katie Holmes, who filed for divorce from hubby Tom Cruise last month, has decided it's high time to rein in spoilt Suri's spending, starting with her clothes.

With a wardrobe estimated to be worth a whopping $3 million, little Suri's love of fashion is already well documented, with the tot reportedly choosing her own outfits from the age of three.

And in the past Tom Cruise had made no secret of the fact that he loved to spoil his daughter, lavishing her with cute clothes and designer gifts.

But it seems all that is about to stop.

'All that inappropriate dress-up and make-up was down to Tom,' one insider revealed of Suri's amazing array of designer dresses and heels.

'Katie's keyword now when it comes to Suri is 'normal'. Tom loved to spoil Suri and indulge her, but Katie has other ideas.'

Katie Holmes has reportedly insisted any designer gifts sent for Suri are immediately returned, even asking for her to be taken off designer 'freebie lists'.

'Katie has been returning unsolicited gifts and loans from designers for Suri since she arrived in New York, which is her home base now,' the source added.

'She's issued instructions to remove Suri from all freebie lists. She's also put the word out in LA to stop any mini-me diva products being sent her way.'
