Roksanda Ilincic says she’s honoured the royal chooses to wear her designs

Kate Middleton is every designers dream costumer, not only does she pull off their creations with aplomb she helps draw attention, and often sales, for fashion brands.

It comes as no surprise then that Roksanda Ilincic, whose looks the Duchess of Cambridge has worn several times was eager to express how she feels about the royal wearing her designs.

Speaking to Fashion Magazine blogger Randi Bergman the designer discussed the honour it is to have Kate Middleton chose an item ftom her collection. Roksanda said: ‘It’s a huge privilege and such honour to have somebody like her wearing my dresses I’m just really, truly honoured I must say.’

Of course it’s not the first time Roksanda has reaped praise on the royal and her wardrobe she previously dubbed her a ‘truly elegant woman’ with ‘understated style.’

Although while Marie Claire joins the designer in admiring Duchess Kate’s wardrobe, not everyone in the fashion industry agrees. Vivienne Westwood recently suggested that Kate recycle her outfits more saying: ‘It would be great if she [Kate Middleton] wore the same clothes over and again. That’s very good for the environment and would send a nice message.’

Lets wait and see what happens to Kate’s wardrobe post pregnancy then…
