The couple announced that they were filing for divorce in July after seven years of marriage.

J-Lo made reference to the difficulties of marriage in her cover shoot interview for Vanity Fair, hinting that all was not as it seemed in the Lopez-Anthony household.

MARC 'HATED' J-LO'S SEXY STYLE A source then told The Huffington Post that J-Lo and Marc Anthony had in fact decided to split months ago but held off from revealing their plan to the media until last month.

But yesterday the pair were spotted looking very cosy in the back seat of a scarlet convertible on a trip to the beach in Southampton, New York.

Marc Anthony’s representative claims the singer was in town to visit his children, three-year-old twins, Max and Emme.

But an insider told Us Weekly that the real reason he’s back in town is that Marc Anthony can’t get over his ex. The source told the US mag: ‘His mood shifts from blaming her to begging her to take him back to telling her she is destroying his life’. He’s apparently reluctant to finalise any divorce proceedings and, 'wants to prolong things so she reconsiders.’
