If you thought that Adele was the only celebrity sneaking around and getting married on the sly, you are wrong. It turns out Dave Franco and Alison Brie have done the exact same thing.

Dave, the little brother of Hollywood heavyweight James Franco, who has appeared in movies such as Superbad, 21 Jump Street and Neighbors, met Alison at the Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans back in 2011.

The couple got engaged in August 2015, and although it has only just come to light that they had a private wedding ceremony, it still isn't clear when - or where - they decided to tie the knot.

However, their reps did confirm the news on Monday.

Alison (who has had her fair share of Hollywood limelight after roles in The Five-Year Engagement, Mad Men and How To Be Single), previously spoke about being a bride during an interview with Yahoo! Style in February this year.

'I'm not very bridal, instinctually,' she said.

'Marriage never really interested me, I guess because I was very focused on my work. I wasn't sure if I really saw the point to it.'

'I bought a dress on Net-a-Porter, and I'm like, "Maybe I'll wear that."'

Was she already secretly married when she gave the interview? Who knows. But if she was trying to throw everyone off the scent she did a superb job.
