The cutest and most hilarious celebrity Father's Day messages

Happy belated Father's Day everyone!

We're sure your Facebook and Instagram feeds were flooded with tributes for Father's Day yesterday, something that started off adorable and then kind of became a little annoying while we were digging through to find a funny meme.

Well, even the celebrities weren't immune to the charms of a Father's Day social media message and we shared a few of our favourites below from Chrissy Teigen through to the Stranger Things cast's hilarious video card.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend

Chrissy Teigen celebrated her partner in parenting crime with a heartwarming (yet tongue-in-cheek) message on Instagram. The couple have two children together, Luna and Miles.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin

Although Gwyneth and Coldplay frontman Chris may have divorced a little while ago, they've made co-parenting a thing and seem to still be a big fixture in each other's lives. She dedicated a post to him of the singre with their children Apple and Moses, as well as a later one to her new man producer Brad Falchuk with his children.

Victoria Beckham and David Beckham

The Beckhams seemed utterly loved up on Instagram, as Victoria shared a picture of David surrounded by Father's Day gifts and cards on the Sunday. She also shared a sweet picture of herself as a baby at her christening, where he rocked a 'major tache'. Brooklyn Beckham also put his photography skills to work, sharing a moody pic of the couple.

Madonna

Madonna got a little shady this father's day, posting a picture of her father Silvio Ciccone celebrating 'all the Dads who really show up!' She also left it on a cryptic note, saying 'You know who you are'. She also took the time to wish herself a happy Father's Day, as she currently is raising six children as a single mother and that's a mission WELL WORTH celebrating.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

Kim Kardashian posted not one, but two father's day tributes on Sunday. The first was amoving memorial dedicated to her late father Robert Kardashian and the latter a post to the new father in her life, her husband Kanye West.

Cardi B and Offset

New momma-to-be Cardi B shared a picture with her fiance Offset on Instagram. The couple, who can be seen flipping off the camera in the photo, will be expecting their new child soon and she wrote, 'You gonna teach me how to change diapers!!!'

The Stranger Things cast

The Stranger Things cast left quite possibly our favourite Father's Day tribute to an unexpected person: Steve Harrington. Steve, a teenager who winds up essentially playing dad to the younger Stranger Things characters last season, and his actor Joe Keery is well beloved by the cast and they all left little video tributes. Finn, who plays Mike Wheeler, left a particularly backhanded compliment saying, 'I gotta say I thought you were gonna be my future brother-in-law. But after Nancy dumped you...you know, you're still part of the family.'

Neil Patrick Harris

NPH and his partner David Burtka have always been couple goals and his heartfelt message merely cemented that, as he called him 'a bright beacon of love'.

Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid

Gigi Hadid posted a sweet throwback picture of her with her father Mohamed Hadid, thanking him for her 'greatest gifts' - a.k.a. her fabulous siblings. One of them, Bella, also shared a lovely message dedicated to the man with 'the biggest, most generous heart in the world'.

Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon posted a cute photograph of her fiance Jim Toth with her son. They have a son together, Tennessee James Toth (pictured), as well as her two children from a previous marriage Ava Elizabeth Phillippe and Deacon Reese Phillippe.

Gal Gadot

The Wonder Woman star wrote a lovely message to both her own father and the father of her two children in her Instagram gallery. Click the arrow for the next picture, it's a cute family portrait (though her children's faces have been blurred out).

Justin Bieber

Justin posted the biggest throwback ever - namely, a picture of him with his father when he looked to be only a few days old.

Emily Ratajkowski

The model posted an adorable throwback pic of herself with her father, writing, 'Happy Father's Day, Papa.'

Bindi Irwin

Bindi Irwin, the daughter of everybody's favourite alligator wrangle Steve Irwin, had us all reaching for tissues with this adorable photograph and simple message. BRB, we're watching her Dancing with the Stars season again.
