Beyonce is reportedly teaming up with Andre 3000 to cover Amy Winehouse’s Back To Black
Beyonce isn’t showing any signs of slowing down ahead of her upcoming world tour, the Mrs. Carter Show, instead she’s rumoured to be recording a new track for the hotly-anticipated film adaptation of The Great Gatsby.
E! Online report that Beyonce is set to join forces with Andre 3000 and cover Amy Winehouse’s hit, Back To Black for the film’s soundtrack that also happens to be produced by her husband Jay-Z.
It’s not known yet which scene the track will be paired with but with The Great Gatsby director, Baz Luhrmann and Jay-Z in charge it’s set to be something amazing.
Jay-Z is thought to be contributing original material to the score as well as cover songs to work alongside the silver screen’s interpretation of Scott Fitzgerald’s novel.
We’ll have to wait until later this year to hear the score though, and it’s a trend that’s recurring, Beyonce fans are still waiting for her next album’s release date – she’s such a tease!
