Beyonce Knowles has given fans a taster of her upcoming album by posting a new single onto her Tumblr website.
The track (or it could be two songs merged together) is entitled Bow Down/I Been On and was posted online last night accompanied by a picture of the star as a child wearing a pink prom dress and tiara surrounded by gold trophies and awards on a mantelpiece.
The song, which is rumoured to have been produced by Hit-Boy, opens with a child singing over the top of electronic beeps before Queen Bey sings lyrics such as 'I know when you were little girls, you dreamt of being in my world' and 'I took some time to live my life, but don't think I'm just his little wife' and a chorus of 'bow down b****'.

The second half of the track includes the instrumental featured in the singer's recent TV adverts for O2 Priority tickets to her upcoming The Mrs Carter Show world tour with a distorted vocal of Bey rapping over the top of it, which she reportedly produced with R&B duo Planet VI.
No further details on the track have been released, so it's yet to be confirmed whether this will be the first single to be taken from the songstress' eagerly-anticipated fifth studio album.

A rumoured tracklisting for the new LP leaked earlier this month, suggesting that Beyonce has teamed up with the likes of Justin Timberlake, Rihanna and Lady Gaga on the record. The album will be her first release since 2011's 4.
