Flamboyant fashion designer Marc Jacobs is about to add a sister to his fabulous fragrances Daisy and Lola

Flamboyant fashion designer Marc Jacobs is about to add a sister to his fabulous fragrances Daisy and Lola and we were the only UK title to be invited to the launch in NYC.

Wearing a black kilt and his signature, diamante-buckled loafers we had a 30-minute interview with Jacobs - to be seen in the October issue of Marie Claire. The juicy fragrance Dot is a sweet combination of berries, coconut water, vanilla, jasmine and orange blossom. The playful bottle is a red orb covered in black dots and adorned with black discs that look like butterflies.

'A dot is a timeless pattern with charm and energy,' Jacobs told us. 'I’ve always loved round shapes. They are eternal and beautiful.'

Expect to see the Juergen Teller-shot ad campaign in August starring the fresh-faced model Codie Young. 'I love Codie’s romantic spirit and her big eyes,' he says - and apparently she was shot without a scrap of make-up.

We love her fresh face and the ladybird bottle and we’re sure this is set to be as popular as it’s siblings. Dot, released through Coty, will be launched exclusively to Harvey Nichols on the 7th July and nationwide on July 25th. Prices start at £47 for a 50ml bottle.
