Another day, another name change for Kanye's forthcoming album...

Following a much publicised Twitter battle with fellow rapper, Wiz Khalifa and a storm over his views on the Bill Cosby rape accusations, Kanye has once again taken to the social media platform to make another huge announcement.

Following Kim K's poll to find out which album name Yeezy fans preferred, Kanye has, surprise, surprise dropped a new name for his forthcoming album.

The much-anticipated album, which has been formerly known as So Help Me God, Swish and Waves has undergone another name change and will forever (or, more likely, for a very short amount of time) be known as The Life of Pablo. A move that has got us all wondering…who…?

With no indication to who Kanye has taken inspiration from, we've taken a look at which Pablo is *the* Pablo... Pablo Escabar, Drug Dealer

The notorious drug lord was known throughout his career as the ‘King of Cocaine’ and amassed a wealth of up to $100 billion throughout his career (crime pays, right?). Most recently, Escabar has been immoratlised in the Netflix series, Narcos (starring Wagner Moura and Boyd Holbrook) – could it be that Kanye is as susceptible to a never-ending cycle of Netflix as us mere mortals and that his album will be a tribute to Netflix and chill?

Pablo Picasso, Artist

The Spanish Cubist artist has long been an influencer of Kanye, with Mr Kardashian West often comparing himself to the legendary painter. Not one self-prophecise, Kanye said late last year at an Oxford University speech, ‘My goal, if I was going to do art, fine art, would have been to become Picasso or greater…That always sounds so funny to people, comparing yourself to someone who has done so much, and that’s a mentality that suppresses humanity.’ Is this album Ye's own Girl Before A Mirror?

Pablo Manzoni, Make-Up Arist

Known as the ‘Pablo of Elizabeth Arden’, Manzoni became one of the most influential makeup artists, like, ever, with Sophia Loren coming to him for his trademark eyebrow-bleaching technique and elaborate style. Now working for La Prairie’s cosmetics line, could Ye have become a fan of his work after sneaking into Kim’s glam room? Pablo Zabaleta, Footballer

Could Kanye be subtly showing his support for the Argentinean born, Zabaleta, the right-back for Manchester City who, it is rumoured, is about to be shown the door by the team? We’re banking on a no, but who knows? It’s Kanye afterall.

Pablo Neruda, Poet

Could Kanye be comparing himself to the Chilean poet and politician, Pablo Neruda? It would not surprise us. As a rapper and the self-proclaimed 'greatest living artist of our time’, Kanye will no doubt consider himself as a poet and with his 2020 presidential bid, also a budding politician.

San Pablo, Saint

San Pablo aka Saint Peter was one of Jesus’ closest disciples and is considered by the Roman Catholic Church as the first Pope. With a son named Saint and an album named, Yeezus, would it be any surprise if Kanye was exploring the life and times of one of the most important Catholic religious figures with his new album?

With no official announcement yet, we'll be watching Kanye's Twitter feed for clarification...
