Sounds like it's time to update your winter wardrobe.

In the holy archive of Meghan Markle coats, there are a few that reign supreme. Her pristine white engagement coat from Line the Label. Her California-girl cool waterfall piece from Mackage. And then there’s one underrated standout, her double-breasted navy blue and green coat.

Although the latter has been pinned to my Pinterest board for ages, Meghan Markle's designer budget is a pipe dream for me RN. However, one brand has swooped in to save the day with their own inspired trench.

Prepare to be surprised. The new winter coat is by Tesco, and it’s a part of their affordable fashion line F&F. Rather than shelling out months of rent, the F&F piece costs a much more doable £39 and it looks like something Meghan Markle would definitely be a fan of.

I’m not even joking, I’m heading there ASAP to pick one up because I’m pretty certain it’s going to go fast.

While one day I’ll eventually put aside enough money to finally snag a Duchess of Sussex-approved haute couture buy, the F&F piece will tide me over till I get there.

Interested in picking your own up? Well, sadly F&F isn’t available online (yet), so you’ll have to put your running shoes on and head to a physical Tesco.

(I know it sounds practically medieval, but we’ve been totally spoiled by the internet.)
