Kate Middleton may have been hitting the headlines of late after a string of Olympic appearances, but Pippa Middleton took back the style spotlight last night, attending the premiere of new flick Shadow Dancers in a sizzling black dress.

Arriving at Cineworld Haymarket for the event, Pippa set flashbulbs alight as she worked the red carpet alone, mingling with leading stars Clive Owen and Rosamund Pike who were also in attendance.
Having a monochrome moment, the Duchess of Cambridge's sister wowed in a slinky black dress, complete with delicate lace inserts at the shoulders.
Pippa teamed her show-stopping dress with strappy black heels (very similar to a pair owned by sister Kate), a matching embellished clutch and her trademark slick of black eyeliner.
Last month Pippa Middleton became the topic of everyone's conversation, after designer Karl Lagerfeld admitted he doesn't like her face.

According to The Sun, the 78-year-old designer was praising the Duchess of Cambridge, when he admitted that her sister isn't quite his beauty ideal:
'Kate Middleton has a nice silhouette and she is the right girl for that boy. I like that kind of woman, I like romantic beauties.
'On the other hand, her sister struggles. I don't like the sister's face. She should only show her back,' he reportedly said.
