This is lovely
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have only just got married, but we’re fairly sure children are on the cards for the happy couple.
If there was any doubt in our minds, during the ceremony the couple’s reaction to children being mentioned said it all, but the Duchess of Sussex has previously spoken about having children.
During a visit to Northern Ireland, the couple were shown baby products by Shnuggle, including a Moses basket, baby bath tub and changing mat. Meghan said, ‘I’m sure at one point we will need the whole thing. It’s very sweet.’
But that’s not all, as it turns out Meghan even has a present ready for her first baby girl.
An old interview has surfaced in which Meghan revealed she’s already got a gift ready to give to her future daughter.
The duchess plans on passing down her Cartier Tank Française watch, engraved with a sentimental message, if she has a little girl.
‘When I found out Suits had been picked up for our third season – which, at the time, felt like such a milestone – I totally splurged and bought the two tone version,’ she told Hello! Canada in 2015.
‘I had it engraved on the back, “To M.M. from M.M.” And I plan to give it to my daughter one day. That’s what makes pieces special, the connection you have to them.’
We like to think this will become a long-held family heirloom in years to come.
