Lily's mother let her granddaughter's baby name slip on Facebook

Lily Allen has reportedly named her new baby daughter Ethel Mary.

The singer has kept the name of her new arrival a heavily guarded secret but it seems as though her mother, Alison Owen, has unwittingly mentioned it on Facebook.

The 26-year-old gave birth to her first child in November and has since only confirmed the news via a post on Twitter, which read: 'Thank you for all the flowers and lovely messages everybody. Very touching indeed. nuff luv x x.' (sic)

Lily announced her pregnancy at her wedding to Sam Cooper in June, which came seven months after her second miscarriage.

Since taking a break from the music industry, Lily now runs the vintage boutique Lucy In Disguise with her sister, Sarah Owen.
