Lady Gaga, Michelle Obama and Beyonce are Forbes’ most powerful

    We always knew she was pretty important, but now Lady Gaga is officially the most powerful female celebrity in the world.

    The starlet joined Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey and Beyonce, who have all rocketed up Forbes’ prestigious Most Powerful Women list.

    Topping the star-studded compilation, which ranks thetop 100 most powerful women in the world, is German chancellor Angela Merkel, closely followed by U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

    Michelle Obama made it in at number eight, while Gaga hit the list as the highest ranking celebrity, at 11.

    Earlier this year, the outlandish You & I songstress admitted she felt able to influence the industry, telling US radio host Howard Stern: ‘Do I feel like a powerful person in show business? Yeah.’

    Other female celebs to make the list included Oprah Winfrey, at number 14, Beyonce at 19, Angelina Jolie at 29 and supermodel Gisele at 60.

    Multi-million selling Harry Potter author J.K Rowling took 61st place, while American Vogue editor Anna Wintour came in at 69,
