Kate Middleton is putting the recent topless photo scandal behind her and turning her thoughts to other things - one of which is playing matchmaker for Prince Harry, according to reports.

It's thought the Duchess of Cambridge would love to see Prince Harry settle down, and is intent on helping find a 'proper girl' for him to date.

According to celebrity site Showbizspy, Kate wants to to find Prince Harry a leading lady who will be a 'good influence' on him, after he was pictured partying naked in a hotel suite in Las Vegas.

'It’s a modern take on the old Cinderella fairy tale – find a ‘proper girl’ who’ll be a good influence and get Harry to settle down, keeping him out of trouble,' a source reportedly revealed.

'The Royal ladies are moving quickly, compiling lists of potential future princesses and vetting the best candidates, who’ll be trotted out to meet and greet the conquering hero Prince when he returns from combat helicopter duty in Afghanistan!'

Yesterday, Solomon Island officials revealed Kate Middleton had little a clothing disaster during her Jubilee visit, accidentally wearing a dress from the Cook Islands to an official Solomon Islands dinner.

The mix up occurred after one over-excited official snuck into Prince William and Kate Middleton's room ahead of their arrival to leave the couple a selection of extra gifts, including a blue shirt and brightly coloured dress from the Cook Islands.

And when William and Kate arrived, they assumed the clothing had been left out for them to wear to the official dinner evening, so happily donned the colourful pieces.

But Clarence House insisted no offence was caused by the mishap.

'We saw they weren't the same design of the traditional clothes we were told would be gifted. So we checked with the Solomon Islands government to ensure the right ones were worn,' they explained to the Daily Mail of the events.

'We were reassured the clothes were correct, and so the Duke and Duchess wore them to the event. It was not learned until later in the evening that the clothes weren't from the islands.

'But it was understood that the Duke and Duchess intended to wear traditional Solomon Island clothes and this was appreciated. No offence was caused.'
