Kate Middleton hasn’t let her being pregnant prevent her from doing one of the things she loves the most, exercising, although she’s had to change her routine as her baby bump grows.
KATE MIDDLETON’S PREGNANCY CRAVINGS REVEALED
According to Us Weekly, the Duchess of Cambridge has been diligently reading up on pregnancy health and has now altered her workouts to tone down the cardio components in favour of more gentle exercise such as yoga.
A source close to Kate Middleton revealed that she’s been enjoying prenatal yoga and has a special instructor visit her at the palace but mixes this up with long walks a few times a week.
Health benefits for both mother and baby aren’t the only reasons why the royal has taken up yoga, it’s also been claimed Prince Harry suggested she try it out to help with breathing techniques throughout the pregnancy and during labour.
A royal insider told Now: ‘Harry’s been helping Kate perfect a technique called the “ujjayi” breath, which is good for insomnia and anxiety. It involves breathing in and out through the nose while creating a low whispering sound.
‘He’s also shown her the “golden thread”, which involves breathing out as though you’re sending a shiny thread out across the room.’
This is certainly a side of Harry we’ve never seen before!
