Marie Claire met with Gwyneth Paltrow as she promoted her latest film, Iron Man 3 where we asked how she felt about the royals. The actress told us: ‘Kate Middleton seems lovely and more importantly she has never put a foot wrong - she’s taken on this role with such ease and grace she’s very inspiring to the people and certainly to me. ‘

That’s high praise indeed from Hollywood royalty!

And it’s not just Gwyneth who falls into the Kate Middleton fan club, her children are also royalists as the star adds: ‘To see her pregnant is very exciting. I didn’t grow up with royalty but it’s very nice to grow up with British children who love their Queen and love their princes and princesses.’
