Find out which unusual name they’ve chosen for their new arrival here…
After celebrating the arrival of their first child earlier this week, actress Kate Hudson and Muse rocker Matt Bellamy have announced the rather unusual name of their bouncing baby boy - Bingham Hawn Bellamy.
STRANGEST CELEBRITY BABY NAMES!
Baby Bellamy arrived on Saturday – just one day before littleHarper Seven Beckham – at a private hospital in LA.
A rep for the happy couple spoke to confirm the arrival of a ‘healthy baby boy,’ but Kate and Matt have kept their new child’s moniker safely under wraps – until now.
Yesterday, Matt took to Twitter to share details of his first child with fans, revealing they welcomed the tiny tot into the world after ‘4.5 hours of intense pushing!’
‘So happy! Just had a baby boy, Bingham "Bing" Hawn Bellamy. Born 7Ib 12Oz, on 9th July,’ he Tweeted.
Confirming mother and baby are doing well, he added: ‘Mum and baby are strong and healthy. Mum was a warrior, Bing popped out after 4.5 hours of intense pushing!’
No doubt the rocker was inundated with questions about baby Bing's unusual name, so just two hours later, he was back with an answer.
‘For those wondering, Bingham is my mum's maiden name and Bing Russell was Kurt's dad,’ he wrote. ‘Family connections all round!’
Congratulations to the pair!
