Jessie J’s colleague on the BBC singing competition reveals what she’s really like on set
Jessie J’s fashion choices may be high octane with lashings of attitude paired with statement hairstyles and strong make-up looks but when it comes to her personality things are suitable juxtaposed according to The Voice host, Reggie Yates.
According to the presenter Jessie J is a sensitive soul and regularly suffers with water works while filming the show. Reggie told Top of the Pops magazine: ‘Jessie gets quite emotional and cries a lot.’
But when she’s not teary herself she shows empathy for contestants who don’t make it through often offering up hugs and support. And it’s this role her colleague believes was why she joined the panel.
Reggie added: ‘As the only girl on the panel though, it’s almost her job to be the sort of earth mother who’s there for people.”
Jessie J and earth mother aren’t words you usually put in the same sentence but she’s certainly showing off her sensitive side.
But when she’s not doing that she’s bursting with energy with her colleague revealing that she’s also the biggest ‘chair fidget.’
And we wouldn’t want it any other way!
