Jessie J has come a long way in just a few years she’s gone from Girls Aloud support act to leading lady on The Voice as well as a chart topper in her own right so it’s no wonder then that she can fondly look back on the journey that got her there.

And that she most certainly did on Thursday night as Jessie J indulged in a bit of nostalgia while going through her old photo albums as part of the Twitter trend of Throwback Thursday.
On spotting a photo of her backstage with Cheryl Cole, Jessie J posted the picture on Instagram with the caption: ‘#tbt one of my first ever supports in 2008 “Girls Aloud” me and Cheryl [sic].’

The picture shows Jessie J in a baby pink top complete with braces while her now old black bob was in perfect place. Cheryl appears dressed down in a black top wih her hair swept into a low ponytail.

But it appears these two ladies have more in common than just their careers, Jessie J is just as outspoken as Cheryl!
On this weekend’s episode of The Voice Jessie J explains she’s the only coach who can really relate to female performers. She says: ‘I feel like as a female it’s so important. They [fellow coaches, will.i.iam, Danny O’Donoghue and Tom Jones] will never understand how nerve wracking it is to be a female stepping on stage.’
