Jessie J Hints At Launching A Clothing Line

Jessie J fancies following Victoria Beckham and foraying into fashion design

Jessie J isn’t one to follow the fashion rules having a firm stance on standing out but that could soon be set to change as a line of style copycats may soon be in her wake after she hints at taking her satirical style to the mass market.

The singer revealed to Top of the Pops magazine that she’s interested in launching a fashion line saying: ‘I'd love to have a fashion range, I've been dressed by the amazing Vivienne Westwood and fashion is something I'm a huge fan of.’

The Voice coach went on to unveil her style icons, adding: ‘I've never been a follower—the only people I look at for style are Rihanna and Nicki Minaj.’

Despite citing one of the most colourful dressers on the planet in Nicki Minaj as inspiration Jessie J admits her style is no longer as outrageous as her contemporary.

‘I have calmed down my look,’ she said. ‘Is it really necessary to wear all that jewelry and makeup at 7 a.m? When you're tired you start to over-compensate by wearing too much bling.’

Although for fans of Jessie J’s music, they’ve nothing to fear: ‘I love getting dressed up, but I want to be remembered for my singing,’ she adds. ‘I'm styling myself over at the moment. Fashion is something that I love to do.’
