Jessie J gives a lesson in how to style short hair and it’s all about accessories

Jessie J was flying the flag for short hairstyles on Wednesday evening as she proved that having long locks isn’t the only way to mix up your look. The signer took to Instagram to share a series of photos from her night’s activities including talking a few self-focused shots.

In the images Jessie J is all smiles as she shows off her bleached blonde crop making a serious statement with gold pyramid hoop earrings by Scott Wilson for Aqua by Aqua. The singer added penciled-in eyebrows and a muted pink lip to complete the beauty look.

The new look was debuted as Jessie J performed a set ahead of her busy summer season performing at countless festivals. Clearly buzzing from her energised routine, The Voice coach posted on Instagram: ‘On stage tonight! Wow first show with short hair! Amazing! Now I get why men have towels on stage! I need towels now! Lol.’

Along with the self-taken shot, she also added photos of her relaxing post-show in a director’s chair dubbing it her ‘post-show breather.’ Another image saw the star playing with a clothes rail turning it into a piece of gym equipment!

While Jessie may have had fun playing in front of the lens, she wasted no time in getting back to work almost immediately after her gig she set off to work on her upcoming album. She tweeted: ‘Sweaty after show! Now to the studio I go! Working hard! Feels good to be back! Massive shout out to the crowd you were killer tonight! What a vibe! X’
