Holly Willoughby to swap Xtra Factor for motherhood

Holly Willougby has revealed she’s seriously considering quitting her role on the Xtra Factor – to concentrate on being a mum full-time.

The 27-year-old is expecting her first child in May, just weeks before filming is expected to start again.

Holly, who is married to TV producer Dan Baldwin, told a magazine: 'I don’t know if I’ll be back on The X Factor.

'It’s going to be shortly after the arrival - and I don’t know if I want to rush. It’s a decision I need to make soon.'

She added: ‘I absolutely love being in The X Factor, but we’ve got to see if we can work it out.'

Question marks also remain over Dannii Minogue’s role on the judging panel.

It has been rumoured Victoria Beckham was in 'advanced' talks with Simon Cowell to replace her, while Lily Allen also expressed interest in the role.

Meanwhile, Sharon Osbourne has revealed that Dannii was the real reason she vacated the judging panel.

Straight-talking Sharon said: ‘I left because of Dannii Minogue. Simple as that. I didn’t enjoy working with her at all and didn’t fancy the prospect of spending six months sitting next to her.'

Sharon says, contrary to the rumours, she didn’t see Dannii as a threat. 'I was 54 at the time,' she said. 'I’ve not built my career on my looks or my youth. There was no competition in that way.’

Just a huge clash of personalities, then...
