Harry Styles to shave hair off for Children in Need?

One Direction’s Harry Styles says he’ll remove his famous curls so long as it raises plenty of money

Harry Styles, and the rest of One Direction, may have won their huge following with a little help from their looks, but that hasn't stop them wanting to change their appearance.

Despite strict protocol around changing their hair, Harry Styles has said he’ll happily shave his head for charity.

When asked if he’d abandon his curls for a good cause Harry told Channel 4 show, Freshly Squeezed: ‘Yes I would, if I raised enough money then yeah... for Children In Need.’

And before this remark is dismissed as a one off comment, he also recently told his close pal, Nick Grimshaw, that he’d like to take to the clippers.

Harry said: ‘I want to shave my hair off and no-one will really let me. Everyone's telling me not to do it.

‘My argument is, like, I think my popularity is in my face, and not my hair.’

Harry’s band mate Niall Horan also wanted a change of image this year, asking One Direction’s boss, Simon Cowell if he could turn his blonde mop into a raven-coloured mane. Simon reportedly replied via text saying: ‘No way!’

But if it’s for charity maybe SiCo can be convinced.
