Gigi Hadid stopped a stage-crasher at the Chanel show and someone filmed the whole thing

This week saw Paris Fashion Week, and to say it was eventful would be a huge understatement.

From Irina Shayk's legendary runway walk for Isabel Marant to Naomi Campbell closing the Saint Laurent show, it was non-stop viral news. And let's not forget Helen Mirren skipping barefoot down the L'Oréal Paris Le Défilé runway wearing Giambattista Valli.

The most noise however came from the Chanel Spring Summer 2020 show, as a YouTube prankster crashed the runway, only to be confronted and marched off the stage by Gigi Hadid mid-walk.

Yes, really. Comedian Marie S'Infiltre (real name Marie Benoliel) according to BBC news, jumped out of the audience at the Grand Palais event and wearing a Chanel dupe houndstooth suit, slipped in between two models, following them up the multi-level runway.

Her prank was short-lived however, as woman of the moment Gigi Hadid marched over to her, taking her off the stage and blocking her from getting back on the runway, before the woman was seemingly removed by security.

The internet was understandably impressed, with Gigi playing both supermodel and security, with Twitter awash with videos of the confrontation.

'Gigi Hadid was the best guard of the Chanel show', tweeted one user, while another wrote: 'Gigi Hadid - my favourite bouncer'.

We imagine after this display of loyalty, Gigi will definitely be back walking for Chanel next year!

Go Gigi go!
