Cheryl Cole stunned as she performed with Girls Aloud in Louis Heal dresses on the show that aired yesterday
hit another style high last night as she performed with
in a plunging white dress for Top of the Pops Christmas Special. The singer marked the end to an eventful year, what with her debut solo tour, new relationship and Girls Aloud reunion, with a pre-recorded appearance on the BBC1 show.
Clad in a long-sleeved, floor-length frock by Louis Heal, Cheryl showed off her fashion powers in the textured number finished off with her signature smokey eyes and a slick of plum lipstick.
Her look was complemented by her band mates who wore matching pale hues, also custom made by Louis Heal with Strictly finalist Kimberley Walsh and Sarah Harding adding interest with gold leopard print on their white dress.
Nicola Roberts stood out from the bevy of beauties in a pink jumpsuit while Nadine Coyle finished things off with a feminine layered dress.
But as with most Girls Aloud events, they didn’t simply look great, they pulled off an impressive performance too singing their latest single, Beautiful Cause You Love Me.
Sharing the stage with Girls Aloud were British acts Florence Welch and Rita Ora – who made Christmas go with a bang. While Fearne Cotton and Reggie Yates reprised their TOTP presenting roles for the Christmas special, with Fearne fashioning her growing bump in a pale pink dress embellished with (Christmas-appropriate) silver sequins.
Cheryl and the rest of Girls Aloud will also appear on the New Year’s Eve TOTP Christmas Special.
Girls, it’s so good to have you back!
