Has someone been at the Mulled Wine? Cheryl Cole's been getting into the Christmas spirit, taking to Twitter to post a series of festive snaps in the run up to Christmas.

Back in November, the Call My Name songstress told followers on Twitter: 'I LOVE any and everything to do with Christmas ! :D,' before parading a series of designer Christmas jumpers.

First up was our personal favourite (and the chicest Christmas jumper you'll ever find!) a reindeer printed Stella McCartney number.

Just days later, Cheryl posed in another festive treat, a cosy white knit, emblazoned with 'Ho Ho Ho!'

Even Cheryl's poor dog didn't escape her festive madness, sporting a festive, snowflake-emblazoned jumper himself. Posting the picture on Twitter, Cheryl wrote: 'Bah humbug!!! #6sleeps '.

Yesterday the singer took to the social networking site once again, to post a picture of her latest festive fashion attempt - a glittering knitted jumper.

'Me, my Christmas jumper and my Lily hahaha !!!! #5sleeps,' she wrote.

Just minutes later, Cheryl joked that she'd been drinking a little too much of her favourite Christmas tipple, explaining to fans that she hadn't been referring to her assistant Lily England in the tweet, but an actual lily.

'Haha I bet you all thought it was @Lily_England didn't you ??? I'm sooo funny !!! Hahaha #YouLittleMugs LOL at myself #TooMuchMulledWine.'
