Cara Delevingne does nothing to dispel her fun-loving persona in the new YSL Baby Doll Mascara ad
Cara Delevingne makes pure on-screen magic yet again as she stars in a new advert for YSL Baby Doll Mascara where she certainly lives up to her reputation as the princess of parties (one with a strikingly beautiful face that is.)
CARA DELEVINGNE HIJACKS RITA ORA’S FACEMELT VIDEO
During the video all eyes are firmly fixated on Cara Delevingne as calm shots of her in colour applying mascara are interspersed with monochrome scenes playing on the model’s penchant for having a good time. The advert starts in a huge mansion as the camera voyeuristically approaches the model through an open door where she appears perfectly polished in a black dress, simple heels with a single stroke of winged eyeliner worked against rouge lips and nails with a slightly lifted ponytail.
But 11 seconds later we witness a side of Cara we know and love with her locks worn long and loose in a white shirt as she peers through an open door, she plays with a bow tie, struts her stuff on the staircase, she works a quiff while riding a bike with another model and when there’s too much to take in there’s more, Cara dances outside before giving her share of some suggestive stares over coffee.
And wait, that’s not all… there’s the obligatory wind shot in the underground before the Brit is seen skate boarding in stilettos (as you do) then she’s at the fairground in a sheer shirt, next she’s in the bath painting the nails of another model then she’s naked straddling a chair in an art gallery. Exhausted already? Us too!
CARA DELEVINGNE INSPIRES PAIGE DENIM LAUNCH
The YSL advert draws to a close just as the party heats up as Cara and friends do dinner, dancing and hair flicking to the max with plenty of eligible bachelors to join them. Cara Delevinge is kissing on the table, putting her legs in the air, has another girl up against the wall. It’s almost too much to take in which is why the advert ends with a close up of Cara sporting a wry smile with the text: ‘More than a mascara, an attitude.’ Which pretty much says it all!
