Cameron Diaz dating Gerard Butler?

Diaz double dates with Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal

Cameron Diaz has been spotted out on a double date with Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal - and Gerard Butler was the man making up the numbers.

According to Life and Style Weekly, the two couples shared a meal at LA's Chateau Marmont - and Cameron and Gerard couldn't keep their hands off each other.

A source said: 'They arrived at 12.30am and grabbed a table on the patio. Cameron snuggled up to Gerard and rested her head on his shoulder.

'Jake and Reese were really cute together too, joking a lot and just very comfortable with each other.

'Cameron was the centre of attention. Reese threw in an occasional wisecrack, but Cameron was really on a roll.'

The witness added: 'Cameron and Gerard held hands under the table, but Reese and Jake were slightly less affectionate.'

Cameron hasn't had a serious relationship since she split up with Justin Timberlake last year - maybe Butler, the gorgeous Scottish star of hit film 300, could be the one to change all that.
