Could Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie finally be set to tie the knot this weekend? Insiders at their sprawling French chateau think so…
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have sparked rumours they are set to marry this weekend, after preparations for a huge party were spotted going on at their secluded French home.
According to insiders, preparations for Brad and Angelina’s wedding are full steam ahead, with excitement steadily building among friends.
A steady stream of guests have been arriving at Brad and Angelina’s sprawling Chateau Miravel property in in Correns, France, since earlier this week – said to be attending a party for Brad’s parents’ wedding anniversary.
But insiders say there is a ‘real buzz’ about the sprawling mansion, and think the A-list couple are using the event as cover for their top-secret wedding.
‘Brad flew in to oversee preparations but they’re all here now,’ one insider told the Sun. ‘They say it’s for Jane and Bill, but some think this could be it. Even Angelina’s private jeweller is here.’
While Brad Pitt’s best pal George Clooney is yet to arrive, the actor is staying less than an hour away at his pad in Marseille, with some saying he’s planning to jet in on the morning of the wedding.
‘George and Brad are best pals, there’s no way he’d miss it,’ the source added. ‘He’s at his house in Italy, but could fly to Marseille in an hour. There’s a real buzz around the estate.’
August 11th has been rumoured to be Brad and Angelina’s chosen wedding day ever since they announced their engagement, with the date – Brad’s parent’s wedding anniversary – having special significance.
Earlier this year, workers spotted a huge reception-style hall being constructed at Brad and Angelina’s French mansion, while little by little, tiny details about the couple’s ceremony have been starting to emerge.
While Brad is reportedly keen on a traditional wedding, it’s thought Angelina wants to reflect the different way people celebrate marriage around the world, in particular the home countries of their adopted brood, Maddox, 10, from Cambodia, Ethiopian Zahara, 7, and Vietnam-born Pax, 9.
‘She wants to incorporate different ethnic wedding traditions from around the world into one alternative ceremony and event,’ the insider revealed back in May.
Black Friday 2021
‘They both agree on the essentials, like the fact they want it to be a big celebration with their family and friends.’
Whatever they decide, it sure will be the wedding of the century.
