Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie set wedding date?

The newly engaged couple look to be set for a summer wedding

We won't have to wait long until Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie tie the knot.

The couple are reportedly planning to get married this summer, on August 11th.

Brangelina, who announced their engagement a few weeks ago, apparently want to get hitched on that date because it's also Pitt's parents' golden wedding anniversary and they want to host a lavish double celebration at their French château in the village of Correns.

According to the Daily Star Sunday, around 300 guests - including the likes of George Clooney, Johnny Depp, Matt Damon and Tom Cruise - are rumoured to be attending the ceremony at Brangelina's £35million château in France, which is currently undergoing $1million worth of renovations.

A source told the tabloid newspaper: 'They thought their kids would love the idea of seeing mom and dad get hitched followed by a big bash for them as well as 'Meemaw and Grandpa' as they call Brad's folks,

'[Jolie] came up with the idea of making it a real family celebration by merging Bill and Jane's special day with theirs.'

They continued: 'Brad's family mean a lot to Angelina, especially since she lost her own mum Marcheline to ovarian cancer more than five years ago and spent years refusing to talk to her father.

'The kids have been asking when they're going to get married for years. Now they are pretty much the main reason Brad and Angelina are tying the knot.'
